How do I turn off HP Cartridge Policy protection?
To disable the Cartridge Policy feature in the printer settings, print a configuration page for IP address or host name then open EWS by entering this information into your web browser. Navigate to System tab, click Supply Settings and set Cartridge Policy drop-down menu to 'Off,' before applying changes.
