What settings do I configure during the initial setup on the control panel?

After turning on the printer and waiting for it to initialize, you will be prompted to configure Language, Location, and Printer Setup Environment. You will also choose between two setup options: Self-managed (optimized defaults for most users with guided setup and automatic updates) or IT-managed (optimized defaults for fleet manageability).
