What should I do if the HP software cannot find my printer?
First, try removing and reconnecting the USB cable. If the problem persists, disconnect the printer from your Windows PC, search for and open Printers & scanners, select your printer name from the list, select Remove, restart your computer, then rerun the HP printer software from 123.hp.com. If issues continue, go to Device Manager, update the USB root hub driver under Universal Serial Bus controllers, ensure your operating system is current, and rerun the HP software.
