What should I do if the Wireless light is glowing steady amber and I cannot connect to the network?
A steady amber Wireless light means the wireless connection has not been established. Try verifying the printer is within 30 meters (100 ft) of the router, restoring wireless network settings by pressing and holding the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds, or restarting both the printer and router. You can also try using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) if your router supports it, or uninstalling and reinstalling the HP printer software. (Page 4)
