The limited warranty covers only defects that arise as a result of normal use of the product and does not cover problems resulting from improper maintenance or modification, non-HP software or supplies, operation outside specifications, or unauthorized modification or misuse. The warranty is also void if the printer is attached to an aftermarket apparatus that modifies the printer's functionality, such as a continuous ink system.
