How do I connect the HP OfficeJet 6950 to my network manually if the HP setup software fails?
If you are unable to connect the printer using the HP setup software or app, you can connect manually via the printer control panel. On the Finish Setup Online screen, touch More Info, then touch Manual Setup, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the connection. (Page 1)
