You can set up fax using the HP printer software (recommended) or the printer control panel. On Windows, use the Fax Setup Wizard during software installation or access it later via the Fax tab in the HP printer software; on OS X, use Basic Fax Settings in HP Utility; or on the control panel, touch Fax on the Home screen and then touch Setup.
