How do I clean the scanner glass on the HP Officejet Pro 8600?

Turn the printer off, lift the scanner lid, and clean the glass using a soft, lint-free cloth sprayed with a mild glass cleaner, then dry with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid cleaners containing abrasives, acetone, benzene, and carbon tetrachloride, as these can damage the scanner glass. Also avoid isopropyl alcohol because it can leave streaks on the glass. Do not spray the glass cleaner directly on the glass. (Page 33)
