How do I replace the battery on my HP ProBook 640 G1?
Remove the service cover and locate the battery. Release the battery latch to remove it. Install a new battery of the same type, either a 3-cell cylindrical 33-WHr, 2.0-Ah, Li-ion, 6-cell cylindrical 55-WHr, 2.8-Ah, Li-ion, or 9-cell cylindrical 100-WHr, 3.0-Ah, Li-ion battery. (Page 47)
