How do I set the code so my remote only controls one fan and not a nearby fan?

Change the position of one or more of the 3 jumpers in the transmitter, then set the jumpers in the receiver to match the same positions. The jumpers in the transmitter are accessible from the battery compartment, while the receiver jumpers are located at the bottom of the receiver device in the switch housing. It is best to use a small pair of pliers or tweezers to operate these small jumpers. (Page 1)
