What does it mean when the Car Reader's red LED comes on?
A lit red LED indicates there is a problem with one or more vehicle systems. It also shows that Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present – this will light up the Multifunction Indicator lamp steadily on your vehicle’s instrument panel (Page 8).
