What do the different Light Ring colors mean on my iRobot Roomba or Braava?

The Light Ring uses three main colors to communicate status: White indicates the robot is awake and everything is normal, Blue means the robot is performing a special function, and Red indicates there is an issue or error with the robot. Different patterns and movements of these colors provide more specific information about what the robot is currently doing.
