What is the correct way to change needles on my sewing machine?
Raise the needle by turning the handwheel upwards; unplug the power supply, then loosen the needle clamp screw and remove the old needle. Insert a new needle with the flat side towards the rear, pushing it against the stopper pin and tighten the screw firmly.
