Yes, the JBL Charge 5 automatically switches to Off/Standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity. It also switches to Networked Standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity when a wireless network connection is activated. Standby mode power consumption is ≤ 0.5W and networked standby is ≤ 2.0W.
