How do I connect the ductwork to the Kenmore 233 range hood?

Connect the ductwork to the hood and use duct tape to secure the joints and ensure they are airtight. The 7-inch round duct plate should be removed from the top of the hood as part of the preparation before connecting ductwork. (Page 2)
