How do I change the needle on my Kenmore 385 sewing machine?

Loosen the needle clamp screw by turning it towards you and remove the old needle by pulling it downward. Insert a new needle into the needle clamp with the flat side away from you, push it up as far as possible, then tighten the screw firmly using the large screwdriver from your accessory storage box (Page 15).
