Before first use, apply the recommended CookTop Cleaning Creme to the ceramic surface and buff with a non-abrasive cloth or no-scratch cleaning pad. Avoid harsh chemicals like ammonia or oven cleaners, as they can etch or discolor the surface. Never let aluminum foil or utensils touch the ceramic cooktop while it's hot, as this will cause damage.
