How do I clean the lint filter?

Always clean the lint filter before every cycle by pulling it straight up and rolling any lint off with your fingers. Do not rinse or wash the filter to remove lint. For periodic thorough cleaning due to fabric softener buildup, use hot soapy water and a stiff brush to clean the filter, then ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling.
