Why is my dryer taking too long to dry clothes?
Common causes of long drying times include a clogged lint filter, blocked or excessively long exhaust ductwork, an overloaded dryer, or incorrect control settings. Heavy fabrics also take longer to dry because they retain more moisture, so separating them into smaller consistent loads can help. Additionally, for electric models, a blown house fuse or tripped circuit breaker on one side can allow the dryer to run without heat and no error codes will be displayed. (Page 30)
