Can I use plastic or flexible foil venting material for my dryer?
No, you should not use plastic or flexible foil venting material. Use only rigid or semi-rigid metal ductwork. Flexible venting materials are known to collapse, be easily crushed, and trap lint, which will obstruct airflow and increase the risk of fire.
