How do I clean yellow or brown stains from the inside of the dishwasher tub?

Tea or coffee stains causing yellow or brown film on the tub can be removed by hand using a solution of 1/2 cup bleach and 3 cups of warm water. If an overall yellow or brown film is caused by iron deposits in the water supply, a special filter in the water supply line is the only way to correct the problem. Before cleaning the interior, wait at least 20 minutes after a cycle ends for the heating element to cool down to avoid burns. (Page 23)
