What should I do before installing a previously used Kenmore Washer or Dryer?

If the washer or combo was previously installed, unplug it and disconnect the inlet hose(s) from the faucet(s). Disconnect the drain hose and drain all hoses before installation. For a dryer, unplug the power supply cord, turn off the gas supply (if gas dryer), and carefully remove the exhaust vent. (Pages 4-5)
