How often should I descale my K-Cafe and what's the procedure?

You should descale every 3-6 months depending on your water's mineral content. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes and involves three steps: (1) Cleansing Rinse - pour the entire Keurig Descaling Solution bottle and water into the reservoir, then run rinsing brews; (2) Internal Tank Soak - repeat rinsing brews until the Add Water light illuminates, then let it sit for at least 30 minutes; (3) Fresh Water Rinse - fill with fresh water and run at least 12 rinsing brews using the largest brew size.
