What are the grounds in my coffee and how do I prevent them?
Grounds in your coffee are typically caused by clogged entrance or exit needles. Clean the exit needle of the K-Cup pod holder using a straightened paper clip or similar tool, and clean the entrance needle on the underside of the lid by carefully inserting a straightened paper clip into all three holes. If brewing carafe coffee, ensure you're not exceeding the maximum capacity of 15 tablespoons for regular coffee or 12 tablespoons for decaf, as exceeding this can cause overflow. We also recommend running a cleansing brew immediately after brewing hot cocoa or other sweetened pods to keep the needles clean. (Page 5-6)
