How do I activate High Altitude Brewing Mode on the K-Slim?
Power the coffee maker off while it is still plugged in, then press and hold the brew and 8oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The 12oz button will illuminate to confirm that High Altitude Brewing Mode has been enabled. This mode is recommended for use at altitudes of 1,500 meters (5,000 feet) or higher. (Page 2)
