How do I check if the mixer motor brushes need replacement?

If the old brushes are more than 5/16" long, they can be reassembled in the brush holders. If brushes are worn to less than 5/16", they should be replaced with new ones. When installing, put the brush marked "right" in the right side of the brush holder with the side marked "up" at the top.
