What should I do if the TV shows small dot defects or flickers when first turned on?
If the TV feels cold to the touch, there may be a small flicker when it is turned on — this is normal and there is nothing wrong with the TV. Some minute dot defects may also be visible on the screen appearing as tiny red, green, or blue spots, but these have no adverse effect on the monitor's performance. Additionally, avoid touching the LCD screen or holding fingers against it for long periods, as this may produce temporary distortion effects. (Page 24)
