What should I do when the air conditioner is not going to be used for a long time?
When the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period, turn off the circuit breaker. Dirt may collect and could cause a fire if left on. When you want to use it again, operate it on air circulation mode (FAN mode) for 2 to 3 hours to dry out the internal parts.
