How many cards does each player start with in UNO Flip?

Each player is dealt 7 cards at the start of the game. The dealer shuffles and deals each player 7 cards, and players should hold them with the Light Side facing themselves and the Dark Side facing opponents. The remainder of the deck is placed facedown to form a Draw pile.
