Can I wash plastic items in my dishwasher?
Only wash plastic items that are marked 'dishwasher safe' or the equivalent. For plastic items not so marked, check the manufacturer's recommendations, as plastics vary in their capacity to withstand high water temperatures and detergents. Disposable plastic items are not dishwasher safe.
