What is the proper way to clean the lint screen?

Pull the lint screen located on top of the dryer toward you and roll lint off with your fingers. Do not rinse or wash the screen to remove lint as wet lint is hard to remove. For as-needed deep cleaning, wet both sides with hot water, scrub with a nylon brush and hot detergent, rinse with hot water, and thoroughly dry before reinserting. (Page 26)
