How often should I clean the dryer vent system?

Lint should be removed from the entire length of the vent system at least every 2 years, or more often depending on dryer usage. Lint should also be removed from inside the dryer cabinet every 2 years and should be done by a qualified appliance servicer. After cleaning the vent, be sure to follow the Installation Instructions for a final product check. (Page 12)
