What is covered under the Maytag dryer limited warranty?

For one year from the date of purchase, Maytag will pay for factory-specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship that existed when the appliance was purchased. Service must be provided by a Maytag designated service company, and proof of original purchase date is required. The warranty does not cover service calls due to improper installation, cosmetic damage, or damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. (Page 18)
