Can I wash plastic items in my dishwasher?
Only wash plastic items marked 'dishwasher safe' or the equivalent. For plastic items not so marked, check the manufacturer's recommendations. Disposable plastic items are not dishwasher safe because they cannot withstand high water temperatures and detergents.
