How do I add a forgotten item mid-cycle?

Press the Delay/Resume pad or unlatch the door, then wait for the water circulation to stop before opening the door to add the item. After closing and latching the door, press the Delay/Resume pad again if it was used to pause the cycle. After five seconds, the cycle resumes automatically from the point of interruption. For best cleaning results, the forgotten item should be added early in the cycle.
