Why is my dishwasher cycle taking longer than expected?

The cycle may be extended if the Hi Temp or Temp Boost option (select models) has been selected, as the dishwasher will continue heating and circulating water until the proper temperature is reached. You should also check that the incoming water temperature is 120°F (49°C), as low incoming water temperature will cause the cycle to run longer.
