Why won't my Maytag dryer start?

Check that a household fuse has not blown or a circuit breaker has not tripped, as electric dryers use 2 household fuses or circuit breakers. Also confirm the door is firmly closed, the Start button was firmly pressed, a cycle is selected, and the dryer is plugged in with power supply on. Note that the dryer will not start in the Wrinkle Prevent position — move the dial past OFF. (Page 20)
