Why is my dishwasher running longer than expected?

Cycles typically run up to 3 hours to use less water and reduce energy consumption. A water heater setting of 120°F (49ºC) is best; cooler water causes longer heating delays. Some options like Heated Dry add time (approximately ½ hour). Try the Insta Wash cycle or run hot water at a nearby faucet before starting to reduce cycle time.
