Why is there water remaining in the tub after the cycle ends?

First verify the cycle has actually completed by checking that the green 'Clean' light is on — if not, press START/RESUME and close the door within 3 seconds to resume. If connected to a food waste disposer, ensure the knockout plug has been removed from the disposer inlet, and check for kinks in the drain hose or food obstructions in the drain.
