What does it mean when the Lid Locked light is flashing, and what should I do?

A flashing Lid Locked light typically indicates that the lid is not fully closed, or that a cycle was stopped or paused using the START/Pause/Unlock button and the basket has not yet stopped spinning. Close the lid firmly to allow the washer to start or fill, since the washer will not operate with the lid open. If the washer is still spinning after being paused, wait several minutes for the basket to stop before the lid will unlock. (Page 15)
