How do I properly connect the weld cables to the Bobcat 250?

Stop the engine first, then connect the work cable to the Work weld output terminal and the electrode holder or weld cable to the Electrode terminal for Stick and MIG welding. Remove the supplied nut from the weld output terminal, slide the weld cable terminal onto it, and secure with the nut so the cable terminal is tight against the copper bar — do not place anything between them. Failure to properly connect weld cables may cause excessive heat, fire, or damage to the machine. (Page 21)
