What engine oil should I use in my Bobcat 250 at initial startup?

The unit is shipped with 10W30 engine oil. You should check oil with the unit on a level surface after fueling, and if oil is not up to the full mark on the dipstick, add oil per the maintenance label specifications. Do not exceed the 'Full' mark on the dipstick, as overfilling the crankcase may cause the fuel pump to operate erratically. (Page 18)
