How do I fix erratic arc or poor weld quality on my Miller welder?

The most common causes are a shorted nozzle, restricted nozzle, or spatter buildup. Clean the nozzle and contact tip regularly to prevent spatter from bridging the insulation and stealing welding current from the wire.
