What should I do before installing or servicing the welder?

Disconnect input power or stop the engine before installing or servicing this equipment. Additionally, you must lockout/tagout input power according to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147. For inverter welding power sources, significant DC voltage exists in the capacitors even after removal of input power, so always discharge input capacitors according to maintenance instructions before touching any parts.
