What personal protective equipment should I wear when welding?
Wear an approved welding helmet fitted with a proper shade filter lens, along with approved safety glasses with side shields underneath. You should also wear protective clothing made from durable, flame-resistant material such as leather, heavy cotton, or wool, plus foot protection. Dry, hole-free insulating gloves and body protection are required to guard against electric shock. (Page 5)
