Why is my Miller Matic 140 overheating?

If your welder is overheating, allow it to cool down before continuing use. Additionally, ensure that you are not exceeding the duty cycle specifications of 20% at 140 Amps. Exceeding the duty cycle will cause the welder to overheat and may trigger the built-in thermal overload protection. (Page 1)
