What are the torch cutting and piercing capacities?

The XT40 torch has a rated cutting capacity of 5/8 inch at 13 ipm for edge start, a severe cut capacity of 7/8 inch at 4 ipm for edge start, and a pierce capacity of 5/16 inch. Working air pressure must be at or above 90 PSI (621 kPa). The torch has a 100% duty cycle at 40 amps and is intended for handheld use only.
