What does the Inductance/Dig control do on the XMT 304 CC/CV model?

In Stick (SMAW) mode, the control adjusts Dig — when set higher, short-circuit amperage is increased at low arc voltage to assist with arc starts and reduce electrode sticking. In MIG (GMAW) mode, it adjusts inductance, which determines the wetness of the weld puddle — when set higher, wetness (puddle fluidity) increases. The control is not functional when Pulsed MIG or TIG (GTAW) processes are selected. (Page 19)
