How do I clear the CMOS and reset BIOS to default settings?

Power off the computer and unplug the power cord, then use a jumper cap to short JBAT1 for about 5-10 seconds. Remove the jumper cap from JBAT1, plug the power cord back in, and power on the computer. This clears the CMOS memory and resets BIOS to default values. Alternatively, you can press F6 in BIOS setup to load optimized defaults.
