How do I update the BIOS using a USB flash drive without a CPU installed?

Download the latest BIOS file from the MSI website, rename it to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of a USB flash drive. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1 (no CPU or memory needed), plug the USB drive into the Flash BIOS Port on the rear I/O panel, then press the Flash BIOS Button. The LED will flash during the process and turn off when complete. (Page 48)
